A great set can take a lot of the guesswork out of putting together an outfit, and they can be easy thing to lean on for casual days or just feeling a little more put together while you’re running errands or lounging around.
However, two-piece sets can be a little too casual.
Upgrade Your Two-Piece Sets for Spring 2025
Sometimes you want to feel more fully dressed, but don’t have the time or inclination to put together a full ensemble. That’s where a good matching set comes in handy, making one (or more) a great thing to have in your closet.

Here are some of our latest favorites for Spring 2025.

Maxi Skirt Sets
A skirt almost always makes things feel a little more dressed-up, even if it’s half of a two piece set that feels like pajamas. For spring and summer, this Gap two-piece linen-blend sleeveless top and long skirt pairing feels surprisingly luxe and its simplicity would make it an excellent backdrop for accessories. Style Note: We’d wear the skirt much higher on the waist. It has an adjustable drawstring waist.

Palazzo Pant Sets
As much as a maxi or midi skirt, pants with a little swish make anything slightly fancier. For example, this ruffle blouse and flowy pants set from Ann Taylor in a black and white dot print feels super glamorous and fresh for the season.

High Neck Sets
A high neck top—think funnel necks or turtlenecks—adds some elegance that a t-shirt or hoodie simply lacks. For instance, this set from Mango is just drawstring pants and a t-shirt, but feels considerably more upscale.

Two-Piece Sweater Sets
A sweater set is also just as cozy as a hoodie or zip-up, but feels more elevated. This goes double so if you pair it with loafers or other shoes that are a bit more luxe than sneakers. Try the look for less with this short-sleeved set from Faleave at Amazon. It’s only $40, so if you like the look why not try multiple colors?

Sporty Sets
Think track jackets, quarter zips, straight leg joggers or track pants, and similar pieces that have an athleisure feeling but a little more structure than a sweat suit. We love this fitted tee paired with matching wide leg sweats from Nike — the silhouette feels modern and sharper than a typical track suit (plus you could always throw the coordinating jacket on top.
