As if Jimmy Choo couldn't make more waves than with their recent H&M collaboration (of course you remember—when people slept outside the stores and mild-mannered women everywhere unsheathed their claws to get a piece of the coveted collection), the company has announced a new partnership, and there's not a stiletto in sight! The footwear label famous for its cutting edge designs, has recently announced it will be teaming up with Australian company Uggs on a limited edition collection of women's sheepskin boots.

Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon said she was inspired by the success that her company had when pairing with the Establishment label, Hunter, last summer on a pair of high end wellies. The black moc-croc rain boots retailed for £250  and sold out everywhere they were sold. The Uggs collection will be comprised of five different styles in multiple colors and will retail between between £495 and £695.

The sheepskin boots will be sold only at Jimmy Choo and Ugg Australia stores, as well as a small selection of prestigious department stores that carry the Jimmy Choo label.

Tamara Mellon openly admits she is an avid fan of the uber-warm, increasingly popular boots. "Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe,” Mellon said. The co-branded collection is set to debut in October.
